Pour 12 to 16 ounces of water into the activation bag with the vest. The amount of water needed to activate the vest will depend on the size and type of garment. The vest will need no more than 16 ounces of water to activate. 4. Zip-lock the top of the activation package. 5. Shake bag slightly and lay flat for 15 minutes. 6. Remove the garment from the activation package. If necessary, gently wring the vest of excess water. However, if the correct amount of water was used to activate the vest, it will not be necessary to wring excess water from it. 7.
